The 2026 grants application window is now closed for 2026.

This year, Sky High will award $350,000 in grants (total) to individuals working in agriculture, food justice, and/or land sovereignty. The average proposal funded in 2025 was $11,000 with grants ranging from $1500 up to $30,000. Grant proposals should match the scope and capacity of the amount requested. Applicants who requested funding 2025 and did not receive a grant may resubmit applications for consideration.

WHO: Individuals or organizations working in agriculture, food justice, and/or land sovereignty. Applications will be prioritized among those who identify as: LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, & AAPI, and other intersectional identities, including people who have recently immigrated, coming from or working in historically marginalized communities, or more generally, communities historically exploited and harmed by the existing industrial agricultural and banking systems. You do not need to be a 501c3 to apply or receive funding.

WHEN: The application will be open from December 1, 2025-January 20, 2026

HOW: Funding decisions will be made by an independent committee of farmers, food justice activists and key stakeholders working to create a more equitable food system.

Notifications for the Emergency Round will be issued by the end of February. Notifications for the Main Grant Cycle will be issued by the end of May.
