Rootwork Herbals

Rootwork Herbals is a multi-faceted, grassroots organization based on Gayogohó:no' land that seeks to build reciprocal, healing relationships between people, plants and planet. We are so appreciative of being a 2025 Sky High grant awardee. We utilized our funds to relocate our BIPOC community garden infrastructure to a new home after years of escalating harassment
and violence from a racist neighbor necessitated our move. With the funds, Rootwork Herbals had support in reestablishing our green house, classroom, food and medicine apothecary, garden beds, and animal enclosures. As a result, Rootwork Herbals was able to resume our community centered programming and mutual aid offerings for the season!
