Mazorca Collective

Mazorca Colectiva joins the collective reawakening of ancestral practices through the model of community knowledge. By strengthening sovereignty through native seeds like corn and tobacco, we regain balance with the land we thrive in.

This grant supports community workshops hosted by elders and leaders; workshops with children new to the US; herbalism and medicine-making workshops; The Lion´s Den Garden and the Peace Garden community orchards; and Earth School at East Elmhurst Community School for Climate Change Activism.
