Solidarity Yaad

Solidarity Yaad International is a Black-led regenerative agriculture and community resilience initiative based in rural Jamaica. Through organic farming, ancestral land stewardship, and community-rooted leadership development, we cultivate nutritious food, strengthen local food sovereignty, and create economic opportunities for farmers and historically marginalized community members. Funding from Sky High Farms helped us expand our farm team, strengthen operational systems, increase crop production, and develop local leadership. As a result, we cultivated additional acreage, harvested thousands of pounds of food and agricultural products, expanded post-harvest processing, and increased access to organic, affordable, and culturally relevant foods while building greater climate resilience for our community.
