Deadass Beekeeping

Deadass Beekeeping is an ecology practice turned honey brand working alongside How Our Systems Evolve, a creative research and development studio examining how systems shape consumption, culture, and ecology. Honey is used as a conduit for larger ecological conversations in tandem with food, design, and cultural programming to bridge the gap between rural land stewardship and urban culture, contextualizing sustainability for different audiences. The Sky High grant supported essential apiary costs and protective gear, helping us rebuild after losing 80% of our hives in winter 2025 and expanding educational offerings and skillshare.
