Dry Bones Heal Bottomland

Dry Bones Heal Bottomland is a cultivation space on heirs’ property where we grow food for value added products, save seed, raise animals, produce native plant medicine, and still forage the same fruits as our ancestors. We also work to tend to over 100 acres of land and strive to understand more about our surrounding ecosystem. As heirs’ property stewards, we lack access to capital that could support environmental stewardship, inclement weather response, and scaling up our operation. Due to the funds we received from Sky High, we can access more of our property, cleared brush for a safer entrance and exit road, and have greater control over land maintenance and preserving our natural biodiversity.
