Helen Warwick is the Principal of Helen Warwick Management llc and an Adjunct Professor at New York University. Her early career was in strategy and business development in educational and professional publishing in the UK and US. She moved into working in the arts in 1998 when living in Australia and after moving to the US in late 2000 worked for 11 years at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation with gradually increasing responsibilities for membership, individual funding and events.
Since establishing Helen Warwick Management in late 2011 her clients have ranged across arts, architecture, and education organizations. She teaches the core Museum Management course on the graduate Museum Studies program in the College of Arts and Science at NYU. She has a BMus and MMus from London University; an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau and an MA from NYU Gallatin
School. She is also involved as a volunteer leader and supporter at a wide range of not for profits. She was President of the Board of Trustees of Danspace Project from 2016-2021 and a Board member until 2025. She served on the Board of ArtShack from 2021 to 2025. Currently she is Chair of the US Friends of the British Council; a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of the Innisfree Foundation and Vice-Chair of the Board of Sculpture Center.
